WorkTruth respects the sensitivity of workplace experiences. Privacy is foundational to WorkTruth’s services. We take reasonable steps to protect the information entrusted to us while recognizing that no system can guarantee absolute security.

Information We Collect

  • Employment-related information you voluntarily provide

  • Diagnostic responses and contextual details

  • Payment and transaction data (processed securely by third-party providers)

We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

How We Use Information

Information is used to:

  • Deliver diagnostics and advisory services

  • Improve service quality and accuracy

  • Communicate with you regarding your services

  • Maintain internal records and analytics, and where explicit consent is provided, contribute to aggregated, anonymized research and publication through the WorkTruth Project.

Confidentiality

Your individual diagnostic data is treated as confidential.

WorkTruth does not:

  • Sell your personal data

  • Share identifiable information with employers

  • Disclose diagnostic details without your consent

Exceptions apply only if required by law (e.g., court order).

Confidentiality does not extend to aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified insights derived from services, provided no individual can be reasonably identified. Nothing in this policy creates attorney-client privilege or any other legally protected privilege.

Such aggregated insights may be used for research publications, reports, or educational materials through the WorkTruth Project.

Data Storage & Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information. While no system can guarantee absolute security, WorkTruth disclaims liability for unauthorized access except to the extent required by applicable law.

  • Request deletion of your information (subject to legal or operational retention needs)
